On Sunday, August 22, Basic Architects will present the conceptual drawings and building designs for the new building which will be built at Interstate 20 and State Highway 360. The presentation will include a 3D "fly through" of the proposed plans for Phase I. In addition, they will present some concept drawings of Phase II and III. This is an exciting time for our church family and we hope that everyone will "catch the excitement" with us.
Building Committee
Basic Architects were selected to design our new building. The building committee has met with Basic on numerous occasions since April. The plan is for the building project to occur in three phases. The first phase will include: multi-purpose facility; common area; children area; youth area; kitchen and office area. The second phase will include an educational wing. The third phase will include the auditorium. Conceptual drawings and building designs should be available for the congregation to view by mid-summer.
Capital Campaign
The capital campaign kick-off was a success with over one hundred families making a committment to give to the campaign. Over $1.3 million dollars was pledged to the building fund over the next three years.
If you have not turned in your committment card, then it is not too late. All you have to do is contact the church office and they will be glad to accept your capital campaign committment.
First-Fruits Sunday was June 6. Almost $216,000 has been given to date. You still have an opportunity to give all or a portion of your committment to the capital campaign fund.
